PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore, a subsidiary of Pan Pacific Hotels Group, has become the first “indoor garden hotel” in Singapore and ranks among the most ecological and innovative hotels in Singapore.

Located in the heart of the Central Business District and Marina Bay, the hotel features Southeast Asia’s largest indoor skylight atrium at 21 floors, with more than 2,400 plants, trees, shrubs and ground of more than 60 flora which covers an area of 15,000 square feet.

Sustainability

During the renovation, the iconic structure of the hotel tower was preserved intact, avoiding the generation of more than 51,300 tonnes of CO2 during construction (equivalent to felling 8.7 million trees or destroying an area larger than all of Singapore’s nature reserves combined).

There are more than 60 types of fruits, vegetables, herbs and edible flowers growing in the hotel’s urban farm, contributing to the “farm-to-table” concept at the hotel’s restaurants, bars and spa.

The hotel has 583 rooms in ten different room types. Each guest room is equipped with high-quality AOLGA electrical appliances as supporting facilities. The products practice the hotel’s green and environmental protection business philosophy in terms of safety, energy saving, and convenience. Together, a comfortable resting environment is created for guests to have enough sleep and relax.

So far, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore has won the Silver Award in the category of “Reducing Plastic Waste in the Environment” in the 2021 World Travel Mart World Responsible Tourism Awards, and won the 2021 “Best Sustainable Hotel Award” in the 2021 Savour BlackBookAsia Awards.

Health and Life

The top floor of the hotel is a comprehensive space, including COLLECTION Club Lounge, Skyline Bar, The Green Space (a multi-functional open area overlooking the city skyline and Marina Bay, popular with outdoor yoga enthusiasts), and a 25-meter-long swimming pool. There are 1,380 fiber optic lights and all the lights are on at night, making people swim in the pool like swimming in the star-studded Milky Way. The hotel also provides fitness facilities for travelers to maintain an active lifestyle during their trip.
