On May 10th, Beijing BTG Hotels (Group) Co., Ltd. held an online exchange briefing on the 2020 annual performance and 2020 profit distribution plan. Sun Jian, the director and general manager, Li Xiangrong, deputy general manager and financial director and Duan Zhongpeng, the deputy general manager and secretary of the board of directors, responded to investors’ consultation and concerns.
Regarding the opening and contracting hotel plans in 2021, the management of BTG Hotel mentioned that the company will continue to actively promote four major strategies in 2021: accelerating the pace of opening hotel chains, upgrading brands and products, optimizing membership rights, and enhancing experience and efficiency. Timely grasp the macro environment and market development trends, and enhance the recognition of various hotel brands at the consumer and owner level. To expand and strengthen the main business, form a hotel brand matrix with complete layout with distinctive features and clear priorities, and make every effort to create a wonderful lifestyle service ecosystem in the new era to form brand synergy.
Specifically, BTG Hotels plans to open 1,400-1600 hotel chains throughout the year. As of the end of March, the number of reserved hotels in BTG Hotel reached 1,407.
In addition, BTG Hotels mentioned that in 2020, the company has opened 909 new hotels, of which 350 are as a light-management cloud hotel, accounting for about 40% of the new openings throughout the year.
